The boys spent nearly every waking minute on the beach and never once got bored. A little sunburned, yes. Bored, no. Part of one morning and all of that afternoon they built their fort (above) and 4-5 cute girls complimented them on it as they walked by. Then they spent another entire afternoon digging up mussels (below) and watching them burrow back down into the sand. Fascinating! The evenings and mornings were delightfully cool and the days were in the low 80's. Perfect.
This is the cute house we stayed in. It was 3 bedrooms and had enough beds for all of us. We were very close to the water and had fantastic views.
This is our first morning foray onto the beach (below)

Wooohooo you're back! Not that I haven't seen or talked to you in a while- but in the blogging world, no. Welcome back. I want to stay in that cool beach house! Next year! Love your pictures- esp the one of you and the kids- very cute! I'm so anxious to see the gulf coast myself!
Glad y'all had a great time! Beach vacations are the best.
