PS. A New Fear

P.S. I just watched a daddy long legs attack and kill a little grasshopper. Another small segment of my childhood innocence dies. Daddy long legs are fairly vicious. I have a new fear. In fact, they are not really even in the same scientific order as spiders. They are Opiliones and have only one body segment. Some eat small insects and others eat only dead stuff like leaves and animal matter. They are not poisonous and don't bite humans though I don't plan to test that theory. Thank you Google. Guys, it's fairly obvious to me that I'm going to have to spray the window well. I'm apparently fixated and the pulsating, popping mass of insect life forces me to look but also causes me nausea. I'm not getting anything done down here. I don't like killing, even grasshoppers, which I hate with a passion bordering on psycosis. But this must be done. I will try to do it tonight in order to spare you another post about it. You're welcome.

Wise plan. I hate killing things too. Even yucky bugs, but seriously... what are you doing to yourself! EEeww!! The Exoskeletons! I can't stand them!

You know, living in an long-established neighborhood has its perks. The insects are rising up because you have displaced them. In a few years, it ought to be like you've always been there.............
You can hang on until then, right? :)
