Dig it!

The contractor is going to start digging our foundation hole today! Finally we are going to get started and I just have to say.... It's about time!

In other news, Casey is hankering after leprechauns. He wants them to be real SO bad. He is trying to find ways for them to be real. We are willing to let him believe they are real but he is trying to reconcile leprechauns with the scriptures. We were reading the Book of Mormon the other night and he asked if Heavenly Father could do anything. We said yes. Here's the rest:

Casey: Then, can his angels do anything too?
Us: They can do anything Heavenly Father wants them to.
Casey: What if one was really sneaky and he just snuck down and made just a few leprechauns?
Us: Well.....

We tried not to laugh. Really. But it was impossible. He's so cute that I wish a sneaky angel would come make him a leprechaun. Ahhh. The joys of youth.

What a funny, creative little boy. Give him a hug for me. Congrats on your hole! That doesn't sound that great, but you know what I mean...

I'll bet he would really like the movie Fineanne's (sp?) Rainbow. It's a silly little musical about a leprican that turns human...It was one of my favorites growing up! My kids really get a kick out of it!
And don't worry...one of my 10 yr olds still insists that Peter pan came to her window when she was 6!!!!

Hope you guys had a fun ground breaking party to celebrate!! That is so exciting!

And Casey, I wish there were some leprechauns around too-- I wouldn't mind their pots of gold too much either.
