We took a walk yesterday on a path in the woods in a canyon by our home. It's so pretty up there right now with the leaves changing colors. We collected the leaves and Erika collected seeds to display for her class. Then we played hide and seek on the wooded grounds of the hotel there. It was a much needed break from all the "house stuff" We had a really good time. Some of that house stuff is that we have accepted an offer on the house and we just are waiting to see if it will all work out. The buyers can still pull out if they don't like the inspection or any number of other reasons. So, we're not noising it around or anything but, I think we've probably sold our home! Yay. Only 2 1/2 weeks on the market. I really hope it works out. If everything goes as planned, we will be done at the end of Oct. So, wish us well! And wish the cute couple that's buying our house well too. I got to meet them very very briefly and they are cute and have cute little kids.
Brooklyn kept peeking around Papa's shoulder to make sure I was coming. She's kind of attatched to me right now. Exhausting but endearing, too.
Here's Josh with a weed in his mouth because Papa had a weed in his mouth. SO cool. really.
See? Everyone is doing it. Look close, they all have weeds in their mouths.
And here we are walking the wall on the hotel grounds. This has become a tradition each year we go here. We have walking on the wall pics from a couple of years ago, too.
And here are the girls. Brooklyn is getting pretty good at walking between two people although she gets tired pretty quickly. In this photo, she did NOT want to stop for a picture.
Brooklyn worked SO hard to get up these steps! You can see her trying....trying... and SUCCESS at last! She sat there and laughed for at least 2-3 minutes.
And lastly, Joshua has a few things to learn about playing hide and seek. He kept trying to hide behind trees that are, like, 2 inches accross. I accidentally gave away my hiding place so that I could snap this picture. Erika saw me moving in the underbrush and spotted me and, shockingly, she saw Josh too.

I don't like it one bit! Okay, I guess I am happy for your family. We will miss seeing your happy smiling faces when we come by your street.
What a great time in the canyon! Your family is always doing something fun. Also, congrats on the house...hopefully things work out as planned. I'm sure it is a stressful process. Let me know if there is any help I can lend during this process. We're sad you will be leaving, but happy that you can move on to better things! Hope the new fam is as cute as you guys!
