Roasting hotdogs

We took a trip up the canyon to a little campground near our house this last weekend. I forgot the bug spray. Luckily I was ultra paranoid the whole time and kept randomly slapping myself and others. So, consequently, I don't think that we got bitten very much and the kids stayed out of my hair and hardly even came near me to tattle. This made for a happy time. This is where Brooklyn was happy because she got to eat Doritos and mint cookies.

And this is the trail she left behind her everywhere she went. She was just like a little snail!

Isn't this one sweet? It almost made me forget that earlier they discovered the remains something dead and dragged me over to see it. Gross.

I just thought Josh looked so funny here that I had to put him in.

We spent the day hauling mulch and our flower beds look much better. My plan is to hurt as many weeds as I can with as little weeding as possible. So far, so good. Well, I hope you all have a happy 4th of July!

I love Brooklyn's little trail. Needless to say, but I'm sure she went home dirty. :) Happy 4th!

Your kids always have some sort of adventure! Awe, I bet you sit back and giggle at the end of the day. I would if my children excitedly showed me a dead carcus!!
