Josh's birthday

Joshua turned 4 on the 14th of July. Let me tell you some of the things that make Joshua so fun. He loves to play dress up as police man, fire man, ninja, etc... But he has his own imagination too. My favorite superhero that he has been is appointment man. Yes, he walks around with a cape and a note book and pen and asks, "when is your apointment, please?" He has a sensitive and sweet spirit and is loving to his family. He's darn cute. So, when I asked him how he wanted to celebrate, he requested a "police" party. We played our police version of duck, duck, goose. It was cop, cop, robber. That was fun and these baloons have bad guy faces on them so we're bopping the bad guys. Also fun.
Here's my big 4-year-old and his cute cousin, Hyrum

Hyrum was a crack up playing this game where you had to close your eyes while everyone counts. He tried so hard to keep them closed.
And, aaaahhh, the arch de triumph! The birthday cakes. In case you can't tell, these are two yellow cake/cream cheese frosting police cars chasing a chocolate frosted brownie bad guy car. Mmm. They have starburst head and tail lights and Air Head licence plates. Oh and let's not forget the Oreo Cakesters wheels. (Weight watchers will be so pleased to know that I will be paying for weeks working off lots of extra pounds from all the scraps that I ate while making these really yummy cakes!)

Valerie, You are my inspiration! If you wish to see amazing cakes, visit her at all things cake.
But comment about my cool cakes before you go to her website because I'm petty and jealous and need excessive praise to feel valuable.
