Pot Luck and Crawling

I am hosting a potluck lunch tomorrow at my house. I hope some people come. Then again, not too many. I'm making chicken salad sandwiches. Sound good? Come on over!

In other, exciting news, Brooklyn reached and moved both her legs today during our daily therapy session!!!!! This is huge! It's been 7 weeks where I move each hand and foot in turn and she hated every minute of it. Today it wasn't so hard for her and she really wanted to get to her exercise ball. She LOVES playing on that big ball. Bounce, bounce, bounce. Thanks to Debbie for the tip!

That is great news!! I said it in the other comments, but I think that we need to get our girls together! I think they would have alot of fun! And we might have some fun as well!!

I want to come!! Darn that I'm nearly 1300 miles away.

You are going to have to explain why Brooklyn is in therapy sessions...I don't think I have heard about that.

Val I wish you could come! That would be fun. Brooklyn is developmentally delayed. She is 14 months old but can only do things that a 6-7 month old can do. ie.. She sits but won't roll, creep or crawl. She hasn't made any attempt at movement yet. So, that's why we're doing the therapy and seeing a neurologist but, if she keeps getting better, maybe we will be able to cancel that appointment. *Crossing fingers*

Thanks for explaining. I'm so sorry to hear that. But I'm crossing my fingers for you guys. Brooklyn is so lucky to have a mom like you.
