Drug Busted

So, there was a drug bust right outside our apartment Saturday. I slept through the party, the brawl and the ensuing sirens, lights, pat-downs and drug sniffing police dogs. Rhyan told me all about it when I woke up the next morning. I was so mad he didn't wake me up. *pouting* I like to see people getting arrested just as much as the next person.

We had just decided that we would stay here another 6 months but that very afternoon we went shopping for a new place to stay. It was long and arduous and we didn't immediatly find anything that we wanted to commit to. In the end we remembered that we're lazy and don't want to move all our things again until we buy a house. I think we might stay here and hope that it was a very isolated event. But we still haven't signed anything and reserve the right to be very wishy-washy until we do.

There is supposed to be a meeting today about NASA's future plan and the newspapers report hopes that this meeting will resolve many of the issues between congress and President Obama. If reports are correct, then we may get to start looking at homes sooner than we thought. I'm trying to stay as objective as possible. You can probably guess how that's working out for me. Will I ever learn to be patient?

Patience is something I have most of the time.... And not at all the rest of the time. Never a balance! Kind of scary incident.

Yikes! But the same thing happened to us...yelling outside our door, police, etc...and I spent the entire next day looking for apartments before realizing that I, too, was too lazy to move!

Sounds like you have a lot of exciting things going on. You have such a darling family. Keep up the good work with your school and family it will be worth it in the end. If you move these days you never know what goes on with the people living next to you or in the area. It is a frightening world. Good luck, I know how you feel we have teens next door doing drugs. Good luck.

I would have been mad at him too for not waking me up! Yeah, drugs are everywhere. I think it was probably an isolated incident though. You're probably good for another 6 months.

PS--scary to live near druggie people. The house next door us back where I grew up was a druggie house. There was once a driveby shooting in the middle of the night that set me awake with a pounding heart. *shudder*
