A trip to Alabama

This past weekend, Rhyan and I took a trip out to Huntsville, AL. Rhyan had an interview out there with a company called Jacobs. It looks like a good company. We'll see what comes of it. It was interesting getting off the plane there because it felt very much like Indiana when we first went there about 7 1/2 years ago. I stepped off of the air conditioned air plane and again felt as if someone had thrown a wet filter over me. The air is heavy and wet, harder to pull into your lungs, and there is the distinct smell of humidity. Not crisp like it is here. We looked around at the area and met up with some friends of ours that moved out there about 2 years ago. (They are how we found this job) Over all, it was exhausting and fun. My wonderful Aunt came and stayed with the kiddos at our house so that they wouldn't miss any school. Here is a picture of her taking a picture of Brooklyn. (oooo, tricky)

Rhyan and I found a fun outdoor mall very much like the Gateway in Salt Lake City. In the middle, there is a river and a bridge.

At the mall, there was a 1 1/2 hour wait at the steak house we went to. So we ate a place called Ketchup that happens to be going out of business. Consequently, they were out of the Southern Food we wanted to try. ie...fried green tomatoes. Blast! Rhyan did try the crayfish and fried catfish which he really liked.

And now, in a totally unrelated video, Joshua brought home an imaginary enemy this week and the two of them just can't seem to get along. In fact, it gets pretty violent. I had to be stealthy to even get this video, by the way. I didn't want to get myself beat up. Whoever this dude is, he's obviously pretty tough and he has the advantage of being invisible, which is hardly fair.

Oh boy. I had wondered what you were up to, since you mentioned moving the other day :( I am with Leah and don't like it either! I may not see you often, but it is good knowing you are around. Keep us updated though. I wish you the best with whatever is best for the family.

Loved the fight! What an action packed video!!! I can't believe he can imagine it so well that it looks like he is in an actual fight!
