Things we've been up to

Happy Valentines Hair
Erika had her valentines party today in school. I called that a special occasion (that's the only time she'll let me do her hair) and we did this heart hair-do. She liked that it was fast and relatively pain free and that it looked like a crown in the back. I liked that it was super easy!

For the kid's teachers, we made these "Love Bugs" The kids each made one for their teachers and we filled them with chocolate hugs and kisses. Yum.

Heidi came over last night and did a project with the kids too. They made recycled piggy banks out of old Mountain Dew containers, paint, tissue, mod poge and empty toilet paper rolls. The kids loved it. I even got Heidi to go swimming with me later and then we came and finished the non-kid-friendly parts of piggydom. We christened the new banks, "Dew Pigs." Yah, it was kind of late. *shrug*

Near Completion! We now have to add the feather boa and the sparkling stickers to finish it off!

Well, that's all folks.

I can't take credit for the hair do. I get my inspiration from all the little girl hair blogs on my blog roll. They have such great ideas. I love to look at them. If only Erika would let me do her hair more often.
