Confessions of a Mother

I am going to confess. The other day, when Casey was super-polite to a lady in the park, I was just as shocked as she was. And yet... I accepted her praise as if I had acctually taught him manners. She came up to him and said:
"What a handsome little boy you are!" he replied,
"Thank you, very much."
Then she said,
"My name is Debb." and he said,
"It's so nice to meet you, Debb."... While he shook her hand, no less. Wow! I wonder where he learned that, daytime TV maybe?

Wow! Well I can imagine Casey doing that... but if you had said it was Joshua, then I'd be on the floor! ;)

Ha! I love it! You make me laugh. Always accept praise! My daughter is 4, and has memorized her favorite book. Her Uncle thought she was reading it (it's at a high reading level)...he was praising me for how well I'm educating me daughter. I just shook my head and smiled! What?! Was that wrong? =)
