What kind of Mother am I?

So, many of you take pictures of your kids and they are cute and smiley and you love them just to death. Photoshop has ruined me. Why settle for my kids as they are photographed? I can adjust almost anything. Is that a red blotch? not on my kid, it's not! One kid not opening their eyes just right? OK. there's a tool for that. Hair out of place? Let's just fix that, shall we? Teeth need whitening? Can do. Do you see the changes in my kids above? Like who got photoshoped in from a different picture because she or he looked better? What kind of mother does that? I really do love my kids. Is it wrong to want them to look as good as possible? Anyway, I'm trying to get better. This picture isn't edited too much, just people moved around here and there. But, if you've seen a picture of me on here, I've probably smudged and blurred any skin imperfections, not to mention about 20 pounds. There. I've come clean. I feel better. When this post archives, and no one reads it, I've still confessed. I'm just trying to show my true self, right? Right?

You crack me up!!!!
My confession:

Hi. My name is Erica and I am a blogaholic! I can't...CAN'T... go a day with out checking at least one blog. Even though it kills my wrist to type!!! I pretty much just keep the computer on at all times (even in non schooling times) and check it several times a day...(deep breath!) ...I feel so much better now!

Cool I have never done photo shop. I must live a sheltered life. But if what you are saying is true I will be sending you some pictures from the time I get out of the hospital to forever. I have always wanted to be one of them Moms who loses all the weight the same day.... Now I can be... (in photos anyways) :)

I photoshop my kids ALL the time. The little brats don't know how to pose correctly... LOL. Cute pictures. Love you.

I think your kids will appreciate it immensely! Then they can look back on their childhood photos and see how dang cute they were.
AND they'll never have to be embarrassed as teenagers when they get a zit on photo day or prom. You can just edit it out like it never happened. None of their friends will remember that they actually had a zit that night. :) That's my take on it!

Oh, and by the way, you DO look just FABULOUS in all your blog photos. I always look and am jealous because you're SO cute!

Oh yeah... I forgot. I can't even tell which kids got edited. I made a guess in my head but then on closer inspection couldn't find the tell-tale signs of editing...
Good Work! You should become a professional photo editor. :)

You are hilarious! I see nothing wrong with editing here and there. What matters is that you are taking pictures - Memories are important! No one wants to remember someone throwing a tantrum in a photo!! Bring on the better pic so they can all be adored!
