Baby Girl banished to Elders Quorum!

Have you ever been in church when someone asks how old your baby is and you answer with a reference to how soon the child can be dumped off at nursery? That's where we are right now. We hear, "Oh, your baby is so cute! How old is she?" My immediate and very sincere response is, "She's 2 months til nursery." This is a most accurate portrayal of our church experience at present. I thought about trying to explain what it's like to go to church with 4 kids and one is a baby and decided that the best way to show it was to scrapbook my program. It is crumpled, dribbled on, has a delightful cherio crust and is half eaten. It perfectly shows what it's like. Sometimes people come up to me and say, "Your children are so good in church." Don't get me wrong, I like the compliment. (I like any compliments) but I have to wonder, Were they sitting behind some other family that looked like us? I wonder..... And I can't take Brooklyn to Relief Society anymore. She is too distracting. She scoots around and she can really get going. This video doesn't do her speed justice. You should see her on a slick, church floor. Zoom. So, I can't take her because whenever she gets down and scoots around, everyone looks at her and laughs and then pokes their neihbor and they look and laugh and no one is even looking at the teacher anymore. It may provide entertainment but I'm at the front and I don't think the teachers would really send me death threats or anything but maybe they'd think about it. Anyway, it means that Rhyan has to take the scooting baby to Elders Quorum. Ha ha.
